Annual Student Information Update

Keeping Student Information Accurate and Up to Date

Each year, families must review and update important student and household information. This process ensures that schools have the most up-to-date information to support student safety, health, communication, and educational services. It also fulfills the district's responsibility to give parents and caregivers the chance to confirm or change key information.

The Annual Update Forms provide an opportunity to review and update the information already on file, rather than repeat the initial registration process.

Please note: Other information, such as grades, schedules, and bus details, will be visible ONLY after the Annual Update is complete.

The information collected may include:

• Parent, guardian, and emergency contact information
• Medical needs, health conditions, and allergies
• Authorization for school nurses to administer certain over-the-counter medications and basic health supports, when appropriate and permitted by district policy
• Transportation information
• Student permissions and acknowledgments
• Other important student and family information

Keeping information up to date helps schools respond in emergencies, provide health supports, maintain communication, and ensure students receive needed services.

How to Complete the Annual Update

1. Log in to your Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
2. Click More from the navigation menu.
3. Select Online Registration Update, then click Start next to the Annual Update Forms. (The Annual Update Form will be available on July 1, 2026. Please note: NO OTHER information will be visible in the portal until the Annual Update is complete.)
4. Check each section and update any changed information.
5. Click Submit when finished.

If you do not have an active Parent Portal account or need help accessing your portal, please contact lnsdregistrar@lnsd.org.

Paper copies are also available through your child's school office upon request.

Why It Matters

Completing the Annual Update Forms helps keep student records current and supports student safety, health, and effective communication with families.

Thank you for taking a few minutes to complete this important step each year. Your participation helps us maintain safe, supportive, and well-connected schools for all students.

Proof of Residency

For Proof of Residency, the term residency means your physical address. Residency requirements are not met merely because one owns property or has a business or a post office box in a Lamoille North town. 

All documentation should include the name of the parent/guardian and a valid Lamoille North town address:

• Belvidere
• Cambridge
• Eden
• Hyde Park
• Johnson
• Waterville

Parents, legal guardians or custodians of students must provide proof of primary residency in one of our six towns to the school when enrolling a new student for the first time, when re-enrolling after withdrawal, or if a student’s residency is questionable. For Proof of Residency, the term residency means your physical address. Residency requirements are not met merely because one owns property or has a business or a post office box in a Lamoille town.

Please provide ONE of the following:

• Current tax bill with parent/legal guardian’s name and address (monetary information blacked out)
• Current mortgage papers or closing statement showing parent/legal guardian’s name and address.
• Formal rental agreement showing name, address and telephone number of the landlord and parent/guardian as renter.
• A notarized letter from the landlord stating the address of the residence being leased and the name(s) of the lessee(s), along with the landlord’s address and telephone number.
• In some cases where residency is questionable, the District may also require completion and notarization of the “Affidavit Concerning Pupil Residency”.

OR

Please provide TWO of the following documents dated within the last 60 days with name and physical address indicated:

• Valid Vermont driver’s license with the Lamoille North town address
• Current utility bill in your name
• Valid Vermont identification card with the Lamoille North town address
• Valid automobile insurance card with the address showing
• Valid voter registration card or receipt with a Lamoille North town's address
• Bank statement for last or current month (financial information redacted)
• Valid Vermont vehicle registration card

During the registration process, in accordance with Vermont statute 13 V.S.A. § 3016, a parent/guardian/custodian of a student acknowledge the information they are providing to Lamoille North is true and accurate.
