Dear Lamoille Union Middle School Families and Community Members,
We are pleased to announce that the hiring committee has identified a finalist for the Lamoille Union Middle School Principal position. We invite you to meet Randy Rininger Kline on Monday, April 27.
Randy brings over 12 years of leadership experience spanning K-12 administration and university-level teacher preparation. Currently serving as an Academy Director, he is well-versed in managing comprehensive school safety, mastery-based Project-Based Learning (PBL), and building high-trust, career-connected school environments. His background is rooted in instructional innovation, having successfully led STEM frameworks and dual-campus operations.
Beyond his administrative roles, Randy is a practitioner of "whole-student" development, utilizing restorative practices to strengthen school climate. He holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership and is a certified Restorative Practices trainer through the International Institute for Restorative Practices (IIRP). His commitment to excellence extends to the community, where he serves on the Board of Trustees for the Carnation City Players, and to the athletic field, where he has coached varsity tennis.
To ensure all members of our school community have a chance to meet and vet the candidate, Mr. Rininger Kline will be spending the day on campus engaging with various stakeholders. In addition to the community session, he will meet with students for a campus tour and hold a dedicated session with our staff during the school day to ensure a comprehensive evaluation from those who know our school best.
