Lamoille North Supervisory Union Postpones Cricket Hill Project Vote
Authored by:
At a duly warned special meeting of the school board Monday night (7.24.23), the Lamoille North Supervisory Union & School District school board approved a motion to postpone the warning and public vote for the Cricket Hill Project.
In light of the catastrophic flooding that impacted Vermont communities on July 11th, and subsequent rainfall that enhanced the damage, the Lamoille North school board unanimously agreed that postponing the project was the most conscientious course of action and the right thing to do.
The official warning of the Cricket Hill Project will be postponed for six months. During that time, the board will continue to assess the recovery efforts in our most impacted district communities and adjust the project timeline accordingly.
