Lamoille North Welcomes Two New District Leaders

Lamoille North is delighted to announce that Kimberly Hunt has joined the Lamoille North Supervisory Union administrative team as our new Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. Kimberly brings a wealth of experience in instructional quality improvement, team building, and leadership. She has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving learner outcomes through a broad-based equity approach in her roles as an instructional leader and interventionist at Hunt Middle School and as Coordinator for Equity and Inclusion.

Kimberly’s achievements include leading the enhancement of the Multi-tiered System of Supports at Hunt Middle School, increasing accessibility to advanced math programs for underrepresented students, and establishing a district-wide Family-School Partnerships initiative. She has also contributed significantly to professional development in diversity, equity, and inclusion, coaching leaders at Harvard Graduate School of Education, and designing impactful training programs at Addison Northwest.

Kimberly loves to ski, bike, and hike in the Green Mountains with her husband and two daughters.

We are confident that Kimberly’s drive to continuously improve faculty and student performance, her ability to build and grow effective teams, and her appreciation for Lamoille County's resources and qualities will greatly benefit our community.

Similarly, Lamoille North is proud to introduce Chris Hennessey as the new Principal of Lamoille Union Middle School.

Mr. Hennessey brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to education. He has served as the Superintendent of the Barre Unified Union School District for the past three years and has fifteen years of prior experience as a principal. He is eager to return to the role that he finds most rewarding.

Mr. Hennessey is passionate about fostering an environment where students can thrive both academically and personally. His core beliefs and values emphasize the importance of student engagement, collaboration, creativity, and the holistic development of each child. He is dedicated to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed and that the adults in their lives are equally supported and encouraged.

We are excited by Mr. Hennessey's leadership, clear communication, and dedication to excellence in teaching, which we believe will greatly benefit our school community.

Please join us in welcoming Kimberly Hunt and Chris Hennessey to the Lamoille North school community.
